Louis Vuitton’s First Frieze Partnership

Hey LA! Save the date for the new LV x Frieze Partnership.

Between February 14th and 16th, a special off-site exhibition of Louis Vuitton’s Objets Nomades collection will be presented. Here is the formal invitation to attend — Los Angeles at 855 N. Cahuenga Blvd. Attendees will emerge in a savoir-faire experience created by Louis Vuitton’s unparalleled customer service. Design discussions will be led by prominent voices in the art and design industry, including some of the House’s own. Designers of Objets Nomades, Humberto Campana and Mayer Rus will be in conversation with Andrew Kudless and Emily King. The panel is packed full of historians, curators, architects, and editors. This event will be a first as the Bomboca Sofa by the Campana Brothers will be presented in a bi-color pink color palette as a part of the bespoke curation.

Since 2012, the Objets Nomades collection is a continuation of a historic tradition. It consists of carefully crafted travel-inspired objects which make up the core of the creativity, functionality, and innovation-led House for over 165 years. The exploratory prototypes from the Objets Nomades collection pay respect to special orders from the House’s past. For instance, some might recall the infamous Bed Trunk from 1874 crafted for French explorer, Pierre Savorgnan de Brazza. Combining the past with contemporary visions from creative designers around the world, V presents the Louis Vuitton Object Nomades x Frieze LA.
