This year marks 130 years of Louis Vuitton’s iconic monogram. To celebrate, the House introduces three exclusive capsule collections that propel its most recognizable emblem into a new era. Monogram Origine, VVN, and Time Trunk together celebrate the enduring dialogue between heritage and innovation, each honoring a distinct pillar of Louis Vuitton’s legacy: canvas, leather, and trunk-making savoir-faire.

Monogram Origine revisits the spirit of early travel with a refined vintage sensibility. Crafted from a linen and cotton coated canvas, the collection offers a softer, more natural touch while maintaining durability. Inspired by an archival 1908 client register, the design revives the idea of personal authorship that shaped the House’s beginnings. The historic Ebène shade is accented with delicate pastel hues, creating a subtle rainbow effect across iconic silhouettes, such as the Speedy, Noé, Alma, and Neverfull. Each piece features an exclusive nametag-cardholder stamped with Louis Vuitton’s handwritten signature from an 1867 trunk patent, linking past innovation to modern design.

The VVN collection showcases Louis Vuitton’s expertise in crafting natural leather. Made from vegetable-tanned cowhide used by the House since 1880, each bag evolves over time, developing a rich patina unique to its owner. Soft yet resilient, the collection reimagines classic Monogram shapes with understated luxury and artisanal precision.

Time Trunk completes the trio by transforming archival trunks into contemporary art. Featuring trompe-l’œil prints with astonishing realism, the collection blends historical detail with cutting-edge craftsmanship, turning travel heritage into a bold, modern illusion. Together, these collections reaffirm the Monogram as a living symbol of Louis Vuitton’s timeless elegance and creative evolution.
