Inspired by Gabrielle Chanel’s whirlwind affair in Scotland, where back in the 1920s ‘Coco’ herself is said to have borrowed her then lover’s (the Duke of Westminster to be exact) tweed jackets during their rendezvous, the house’s latest haute joaillerie collection titled “Tweed de Chanel” alludes to her romantic history, as its latest rocks are woven betwixt two lovers.
