Ludovic de Saint Sernin Relaunches Swimwear Line in Rio, and It’s Everything

Set against Rio de Janeiro’s beaches and modernist architecture, the Spring/Summer 2026 collection introduces women’s swimwear silhouettes

Ludovic de Saint Sernin returned to Rio de Janeiro to expand its swimwear universe for Spring/Summer 2026 with the relaunch of womenswear swimwear. Building on the successful return of men’s swimwear last season, the collection introduced three new women’s silhouettes—the bikini, trikini, and bodysuit—alongside the house’s signature styles. Available in black, white, and brown, the designs embodied the confident, body-conscious sensuality that has become synonymous with the brand.

Where an Oscar Niemeyer residence curves into the São Conrado hillside, sweeping concrete forms meet one of Rio’s most dramatic stretches of coastline. Rock outcrops frame the water’s edge below, while the city’s beaches extend in either direction, washed in the bright, near-equatorial light that gives Rio its distinctive glow.

Captured by Spanish photographer Jorge Perez Ortiz and styled by Pau Avia, the campaign unfolded across some of the Brazilian city’s most iconic settings. Fronted by Brazilian model Barbara Valente alongside an all-Brazilian cast featuring Juan Felipe, Juan Pablo, Lucas Ribeiro, and Thomas Reinold Schmidt, the campaign embodied the effortless confidence and magnetism that have come to define both Rio de Janeiro and the spirit of Ludovic de Saint Sernin.
