MA Menswear Boldly Affirms Their Space at LFW
Students from the University of Westminster’s MA Menswear collectively collaborated to bring an uncanny level of talent to London’s Fashion Week.
Presented at The Oval Space in London, graduate students from the University of Westminster’s MA Menswear collectively collaborated to bring an uncanny level of talent to London’s Fashion Week. Centering fashion as the focal point for their visual language, students unapologetically shared their stories in a new way. From menswear collections that confront issues of toxic masculinity to clothing that reveals the hidden truths behind folktales and fables, these designs are sure to bring admiration from all around the globe.
The University of Westminster’s Master in Menswear program is the ultimate destination for the most inventive and primal minds who aim to shape the world of contemporary menswear and leave a footprint in design-based industries.
Westminster University has a world-class reputation for producing highly creative fashion professionals, some alumni include designers Roberta Einer, Claire Barrow, Liam Hodges and Ashley Williams, as well as Christopher Bailey, CEO and Chief Creative Officer of Burberry, and Stuart Vevers, Creative Director of Coach.
Notable fashion graduates from the last two years are currently working in the design teams at companies such as Alexander McQueen, Versace, Urban Outfitters, Versus, H&M, Paul Smith, Tommy Hilfiger, Harrods, Burberry, and Adidas, Loewe, Norse Projects, JW Anderson, John Richmond, Burberry, Acne, and Tom Ford.
