Two years ago, a young artist Maggie Rogers went from an unknown musician to an overnight sensation and is now consider one of music's most inspired and exciting voices. After releasing her successful EP Now That The Light Is Fading, the singer-songwriter has since gifted us with singles like "Fallingwater" and "Give A Little" and today has dropped her most vulnerable work yet with her new track, "Light On".

With her debut album Heard It In A Past Life arriving this January, Rogers' "Light On" boldly pulls the focus on her evolution from striving artist to a full public figure in every sense of the term. A journey of finding herself without the solace of what she once knew before, Rogers confidently produces one of her most focused choruses yet singing,

"Oh, if you keep preaching / Then I’ll keep coming back / And if you’re gone for good / Then I’m okay with that / If you leave the light on / Then I’ll leave the light on /And I am finding out / There’s just no other way / That I’m still dancing at the end of the day / If you leave the light on / Then I’ll leave the light on".

In a press release, Rogers says, "I love music more than anything else in the whole world and I always have. This song is me actively choosing this life – in my way and in my time."
