Joan Smalls, Luka Sabbat and Jonathan Cheban—sorry, Foodgod—were amongst the familiar faces at Socialista Miami’s opening. Hospitality entrepreneur Maggio Cipriani’s Floridian edition of the popular NYC intimate lounge concept opened in the midst of Art Basel, which means the party was bumping.
Socialista, which launched back in 2016, has since grown to have locations in London, Dubai and now in the heart of downtown Miami. For the festive evening, guests enjoyed live music, Cuban inspired cocktails, signature dishes, and hand-rolled cigars. In fact, Socialista Miami draws on the strong Cuban influence of its host city. Guests also included rappers Bad Bunny and Travis Scott, Bella Hadid, Nina Dobrev, and Kourtney Kardashian.
