Maison Kitsuné X MATTE Projects Summer Party

The guest list included some of the city’s most influential and talented creatives

Last Thursday, Maison Kitsuné, the French and Japanese record label and fashion house hosted an event at The Public Hotel rooftop in collaboration with MATTE Projects, a creative studio based in New York City. Since its inception, Maison Kitsuné has been famous for hosting the best parties, it therefore comes as no surprise that they would team up with MATTE projects to kick summer off with a star-studded soirée.

With appearances by Tyler The Creator and DJ sets by Isaac Likes , Quiana Park and Angel & Dren, who spun groovy tunes while juxtaposed against breathtaking views of the city, the party was nothing short of a success. Think pink mullets, orange-tinted lenses, vintage Galliano and beautiful people that filled up the last floor of the Public Hotel nestled in the heart of the Lower East Side.

The guest list included some of the city’s most influential and talented creatives such as Lana Johnson, owner and designer of it-brand Orseund Iris and her twin sister Amber Johnson, who directed Lolo Zouai’s latest music video Galipette. The result: a very fun party with an eclectic and equally cool crowd.
