Maison Margiela Presents Art Installation at Crosby Street Store

See the art installation by Wickerham & Lomax while it’s available.

Maison Margiela’s Crosby Street Store in New York City will feature an art installation by art collaborative Wickerham & Lomax for a limited time.

Wickerham & Lomax comprises Baltimore-based artists Daniel Wickerham and Malcolm Lorax. Their collaboration with Maison Margiela nods to author Ursula K. Le Guin’s essay “The Carrier Bag Theory of Fiction,” and consists of various forms of a bag – ranging from a tote to a luxury product. Each piece is named after and dedicated to a gay bar in Baltimore, Maryland that no longer exists.

The installation will be available for viewing from now until January 7th, 2022, running from 11 am – 7 pm daily.
