Back by popular demand, Marc Jacobs has reinvigorated the city collection from the brand’s past with a new look. Designs across the collection are as varied as the inspiration found within the cities represented. These hometowns and far-flung destinations include Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Miami, Hawaii, Paris, London, Tokyo, and of course, New York.

The brand’s recognizable tote bag serves as the heart of the collection with each city inspiring bold and particular designs. For the London tote, there are nods to punk through safety pins alongside the classic red telephone box on a tartan-print. Airbrushed aesthetics are referenced through the design of the Hawaii and Miami totes, and pin-up is used on the Hollywood tote and tee. The downtown, colorful aesthetic associated with Jacobs is revealed throughout the capsule.

In addition to bags, certain cities are featured through other garments and accessories. Jewelry from the capsule has a cheeky feel evidenced by bright yellow taxi-cab earrings and a New York charm necklace with classic New York symbols, like a pretzel, hot dog, the Statue of Liberty, and the city’s unofficial mascot: the pigeon.
In the spirit of jetsetting, passports are a part of the capsule and designed for each of the eight cities with their accompanying iconography and color palettes.
