Marc Jacobs Pre-Fall 2026 Campaign Has a Plot

Rachel Sennott stars in “The Scene”, a micro-drama about chaos, the Met Gala, and the bag that survives all of it
Leave it to Marc Jacobs to turn a bag launch into a whole cinematic universe. The Scene, the brand’s Pre-Fall 2026 campaign, is a scripted micro-drama starring Rachel Sennott, actress, producer, screenwriter, and officially the funniest person in any room. Set against the streets of Manhattan, it follows one chaotic, comedic day in the life, all leading up to a coveted Met Gala invite. Very New York, very unhinged, very her.

Sennott brought along some friends too. Francesca Scorsese, Morgan Maher, True Whitaker, and Sandra Bernhard pop up throughout. The cast is perfectly chosen, funny, a little unpredictable, and exactly the kind of company you want along for a chaotic day in the city. The real protagonist, though, is The Scene Bag, the season’s hero accessory. Available in three sizes and colors, it comes with signature hardware, a sculptural silhouette, and the J Marc logo. Likewise, new colors of The Tote Bag and The Snapshot round out the collection, giving plenty of options.
The Scene is just the first installment in an ongoing series of scripted shorts rolling out episodically across Marc Jacobs’ social channels. The full collection hits boutiques globally and marcjacobs.com on April 30.
