Margot Robbie Reveals Harley Quinn’s New Look For ‘Birds of Prey’
Harley Quinn is back with a new look in the first teaser for ‘Birds of Prey’
‘Birds of Prey’ is the upcoming DC Comics superhero film focusing on a female-centric cast which features a major fan favorite, Harley Quinn played by Margot Robbie.
Robbie teased her fans on Instagram with a photo of her as Harley Quinn captioned, “Miss me?”. The post reveals a seemingly new look that Harley Quinn is rocking in the upcoming film. Her iconic baseball bat and tattoos remain, while newly short hair, choppy bangs and a playful bright pink outfit perfectly compliment her cute, eccentric character. Quinn was also spotted wearing a blue dog collar with the tag “Bruce” written on it. Could it be a reference to Batman’s alter ego, Bruce Wayne??? The question remains!
The teaser portrays Quinn in a happier, more pleasant light than the previous DC film, ‘Suicide Squad’ did, where she rocked a darker, grittier tone and found herself in a toxic relationship with the Joker.
Robbie has been paired up with a new ensemble of lady vigilantes such as Ella Jay Basco, Jurnee Smollett-Bell, Rosie Perez, and Mary Elizabeth Winstead.
‘Birds of Prey” is scheduled to release February 7, 2020. Until then, we can keep our eyes peeled for the full length trailer that is likely to drop sometime this year.
