No star has single handedly dominated Christmas like Mariah Carey has. The singer songwriter has consistently dominated the holiday music charts since 1994 with her hit song “All I Want for Christmas is You”. In fact, this song alone has remained a holiday favorite for the past 26 years across radio and streaming services everywhere. It even reached No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 in December of last year.

This year, the iconic singer has teamed up with Apple TV to produce “Mariah Carey’s Magical Christmas Special”. The special will make its debut next month and will feature an impressive list of stars that include Ariana Grande, Tiffany Haddish, Jennifer Hudson, Snoop Dogg, Jermaine Dupri, Billy Eichner and more.

The trailer for the Apple TV+ special dropped today and on it was the instrumental to the iconic song, “All I Want for Christmas is You”. Hopefully, the epic production will feature Carey’s new song “Oh Santa!” which drops on the same day as the special. The new song will be released along with a music video and will feature Carey performing with Grande and Hudson. You can stream it on Apple Music and other streaming platforms starting Dec. 4.

The “Mariah Carey’s Magical Christmas Special” will see Mariah Carey portraying Santa’s best friend in the show, where she will be tasked to save the day and “create a holiday spectacular to make the whole world merry.”

Carey executive produced the special along with Ian Stewart, Raj Kapoor and Ashley Edens for Done + Dusted. Hamish Hamilton and Roman Coppola served as the directors for the production, with Caroline Fox writing the script.
