Moonlight and nighttime motifs are nothing new for Marine Serre. Since debuting her signature moon motif in 2016 during her graduation presentation at La Cambre, Serre has made a name for herself and her eponymous brand with its signature crescent moon logo. After Serre’s runway at Paris Fashion Week in March, the visual campaign has been released throughout 2025 in chapters, with this final installment ending in Shanghai.

Imagined through a color story of burgundy, scarlet, and navy, the collection’s already obvious regal air is heightened by photography and videography work done respectively by duo Julia & Vincent and Adrien Lallau.

The atmosphere and setting plays off the structural garments well, heightening the vintage 1950s sophistication and 1980s elegance Serre is calling back to. The campaign shots are reminiscent of director Wong Kar Wai’s film “In the Mood for Love” with its lustful but restrained energy.

Serre is moving away from the reliance on the repeating crescent moon pattern popularized by the likes of Dua Lipa and Kylie Jenner, and is now deeply focused on tailoring and evolving into more silhouette-focused design work. What still remains as a call back to the brand’s archive is a great deal of sheer tights peeking out from under draped leg-revealing dresses.

Finally, Marine Serre selected the Aurora bag in white crocodile leather as the spotlight accessory of the Fall/Winter 2025 collection. The small shoulder bag, with its unique shape and subtle crescent moon buckle, is another call back to Marine Serre’s core brand identity.
