Marrying Dior and the French Riviera

In a perfect coupling, the French fashion house meets the fresh, salty air of summer on the Côte d’Azur

What happens when Jonathan Anderson’s Dior meets the French Riviera? Dioriviera, of course. The ready-to-wear collection connects the elegance of French fashion with the charm of Mediterranean living. Celebrating beauty in all its forms, the collection features ornately designed tableware, floral jewelry, and reimagined prints inspired by the natural world.

Toile de Jouy is given a floral reinterpretation, while the Dior Arabesque motif draws inspiration from the work of artist Christian Bérard. The floral motif appears embroidered across slides and bags, as well as applied to plates and vases.

At first glance, the collection’s use of print may seem repetitive. In reality, it is a way of building a story. Across the collection, Anderson constructs his vision of summertime, shaped by the landscapes and aesthetics of the South of France. The collection is now available at select resorts and pop-up stores, from Mykonos to Saint-Tropez.
