Maserati x Massimo Bottura: An Explosion of Creativity and Color
The Levante Trofeo Fuoriserie Edition is a customizable luxury dream for car lovers.
Luxury car manufacturer, Maserati, has teamed up with Italian restaurateur and chef, Massimo Bottura, for the Levante Trofeo Fuoriserie Edition. This partnership, presented on Thursday during the Motor Valley Fest 2021 in Modena, is an explosion of creativity and a display of freedom of expression.
Both originating from Italy’s Emilia region, Maserati and Bottura share a passion for using tradition as a driving force behind their creations.
The blank canvas for this collaboration: Maserati’s first SUV, Levante. Splashes of vivid colors and a spirit of boundless imagination, this collaboration is a rare show of playfulness in the luxury car world. It embodies the spirit of creativity and adventure that the Bottura shares with the Maserati Fuoriserie customization programme – a tool that allows customers to design their own vehicles.
In top-of-the-range Trofeo trim, with a 580 horsepower V8 engine, the high-speed, high-performance Levante model is a dream to drive. This Fuoriserie Edition’s Blu Stradale exterior is painted with splatters of vibrant colors, also featured on the interior inserts, the central console and the dashboard. Creativity is visible from all angles.
Bottura’s design is inspired by his love for off-road adventures, Levante’s specialty. Cars caked in mud and “racing scars,” as he affectionately refers to them, are a sign of a successful day of exploration. Trading out mud splatters for paint, these colorful designs are one of a kind.
The Levante Trofeo belongs to the customization programme. Customers can choose from a variety of options to design a car tailored to their tastes – a true form of self-expression for car lovers.
With new external paints and liveries, wheel and brake caliper colours, as well as specific cabin combinations with different stitching colour schemes and interior layouts, the possibilities are endless. To help customers navigate the thousands of possible combinations, Maserati has created three basic collections as starting-points: Corse, Unica and Futura.
