The holiday season is just around the corner, and Prada’s ready to celebrate, with the newly unveiled Holiday 2024 campaign, “The Dinner Guests,” which takes place at a lavishly decorated dinner party, complete with a star-studded cast. Photographed by Willy Vanderperre, “The Dinner Guests” is set against a deep red backdrop that evokes the spirit of the season. A well-appointed tabletop set showcases fine porcelain homewares and crystal, and each item dons distinctive Prada iconography—from house colors to emblematic patterns.
Even the food being served at the party carries the Prada identity. The guests delight in confectionaries from Marchesi 1824—the historic Milanese Pasticceria that is a part of the Prada Group portfolio—including tiered cakes and highly decorated Panettone. Every bit of the campaign supports the show’s ultimate stars, which are the Prada outfits and accessories being sported by the titular dinner guests.
The stylish ensemble consists of a global cross-section of talent, brought together for the first time. American actor Kelvin Harrison Jr. wears a tan cardigan and sits across from musician and Stranger Things star, Maya Hawke. Karina, the frontwoman of the K-pop group aespa, is also an attendee, along with Louis Partridge, who is known for his role in the Enola Holmes franchise.
Prada’s trademark “Trick” robots are also unexpectedly a part of the gang. These guys usually come in the form of whimsical bag charms but are depicted here as friendly, life-size diners, ready to join in the festivities.
