In celebration of the holiday season, and the unveiling of the first ever MCM x The Standard Christmas Tree, the pair hosted a jovial holiday-themed cocktail hour and dinner at the Standard Grill on Tuesday. Attendees included Jessica Wang, Karina Bik, Alexa Losey, Caroline Vazzana, Salina Williams, Nate Katsuki, Melissa Vale, Kaye Bassey, Fatou Fall, Taylor Reed, Yana Khan, Valentino Bonaccio, Matthew Mazur, Tama Gucci and Savannah White.

The MCM x The Standard Christmas Tree includes a blend of traditional silver and gold ornaments as well as branded MCM rocket ships and stars ornaments. The tree adheres to the theme of MCM’s current Autumn/Winter 2024 collection, titled “Munich to Mars,” while also paying homage to the brand’s German origins. It also has a custom MCM star on top and stacks of MCM-wrapped gift boxes below it.

The Christmas tree, which merges the hotel’s “cooler than cool” lifeblood with MCM’s “digital nomad” DNA,”  will be displayed at The Shop at The Standard, High Line until next year. During Tuesday night’s festivities, guests wore handpicked pieces and accessories from MCM’s latest collection.

Dinner was served on tables decorated with MCM-monogrammed napkin holders and place mats and traditional dinnerware from The Standard. Many items were branded with MCM’s legendary logo and each guest had the opportunity to leave with a timeless MCM accessory.
