McQueen Presents its Autumn/Winter 2026 Pre-Collection

The Autumn/Winter 2026 Pre-Collection is shaped by a wardrobe of cool tones, sharp tailoring, and softened textures
For the Autumn/Winter 2026 Pre-Collection, McQueen proposes a wardrobe that softens the intensity of peak summer through lighter fabrications and neutral colors. Ochre, smoke grey, pale pink, and soft blue form a palette that feels considered rather than minimal. The jacket, shirt, and denim sit at the core of the collection, each treated with the sharp tailoring the house is known for. Harness detailing and corset lacing appear loosened and undone against structured suiting, while knitwear and jersey are draped and knotted to mirror the pace of modern city dressing.

Throughout the collection, elements of nature are woven into the metropolitan minimalism. Floral and ceremonial embroideries bring texture and delicacy without overwhelming the overall restraint of the collection. Wishbone motifs are integrated into accessories and footwear as symbolic talismans, a nod to one of the house’s most recognizable archival codes and a recurring thread that ties the offering together.
For accessories, Creative Director Seán McGirr draws on the house’s heritage through the return of the Wishbone bag in tactile leather and suede, featuring original archival hardware. It sits alongside updated versions of the Manta, reworked in gunmetal leather, repurposed denim, and chevron intarsia. The Jeweled Top Handle and Long Knuckle Clutch round out the bag selection. Footwear combines sculptural form with intricate detailing, from horn-heel boots and corset-laced slingbacks to the slim-profile Boxe sneaker. To tie the wardrobe all together, jewelry mirrors the collection’s elegance through glass shards finished to resemble antique mirrors.
