Grammy winner, hot girl and now college graduate. On October 26th, Megan Thee Stallion announced on Instagram that she will be graduating this year with the caption, “2021 finna graduate collegeeee. Taking my graduation pics today. Can’t wait for y’all to see.’’ She is pictured in a slideshow of photographs wearing her school colors—black and maroon—and holding a bedazzled graduation cap with one of her most iconic catchphrases on top: “Real hot girl shit.’’

The “Savage’’ rapper has been attending Texas Southern University, an institution based in her hometown of Houston, where she studied health administration. Since the start of her music career, Megan has opened up about taking online courses while fulfilling her dreams as an artist. She also spoke to PEOPLE last year about her late mother, Holly Thomas, being the inspiration behind her continuing her education despite her successes. 

“I want to get my degree because I really want my mom to be proud,” Megan told PEOPLE. “She saw me going to school before she passed.” 

While she preps for commencement in late fall/early winter, Megan is set to release “Something For Thee Hotties,’’ an album filled with unreleased freestyles, this Friday. It is currently available for pre-order on all streaming channels.
