Messika Paris is welcoming the latest addition to their extensive offerings: a new unisex piece to their titanium collection: the Move GI necklace. Military-inspired with a rocker aesthetic, the necklace joins the French jewelry house’s first men’s-focused, “Move Titanium” collection as an edgy reimagination of the maison’s signature motifs.
Valérie Messika is striking the perfect balance between iconic and wearable with the Move GI, reinterpreting the Move necklace with a unisex spin. By combining the motif with the strong chain, there is a juxtaposition between the delicate and bold features of the jewelry, making it a timeless, genderless piece.
The Move GI will be available in three colorways: dark grey, black, and silver. Of the options, the dark grey is the most technical, having required a technique called DLC (Diamond-Like Carbon) to darken the light titanium. The result? A brushed metal look that is just as perfect for every day as it is a night out.
American dancer, actor, and model Alton Mason starred in the new campaign debuting the necklace, joining the Messika family as the first male face of a campaign. Mason had previously walked in the Maison’s high jewelry runway show during Paris Fashion Week.
“Messika breathes a new, cool and modern breath into the world of jewelry,” shares Alton Mason. “Our collaboration during last September’s show was built on sincerity. An essential mutual complicity, which is revealed in this unique and very free campaign.”
