Miaou — easily one of everyone’s favorite brands — has released their Holiday Collection this week, a part of their Miaou x SSENSE Capsule Collection,  giving us an idea of just how we’re going to be styling these pieces with the rest of our wardrobe this season. WIth traditional silhouettes we know and love from Miaou, they debut their collection with gorgeous new styles and patterns.

Not one to shy from showing some skin, Miaou’s Holiday Collection features corsets, low-waisted pants, thongs and bras. Long-sleeve tops and midi dresses are also featured with elaborate cut-outs in the torso or back.

Stand-out items include anything from the Motion pattern, which is a dreamy watercolor-like pattern in hues of greens, browns and sea blues. Pieces in the Motion pattern are available in everything from corsets with a halterneck top or bustier, to pants, a bra, dress and a long-sleeve square neck top.

The Mara and Aphex Corset are featured for the first time ever in Miaou’s Holiday Collection. The Mara Corset comes in an array of colors and fabrics, and has a triangle-shaped bust that wraps around the neck like a halter top. The Aphex Corset has that traditional base of a corset, with a balconette top and spaghetti straps connecting at the center of the top and sides.

Neon lime and a fantastical shade of blue are some of the solid colors that stand out in the collection against the black and white neutral pieces, showing us that bright colors can be carried onto the colder seasons and aren’t just for the summer. 

Most garments from the collection are made from deadstock fabric and recycled polyester in order to reduce waste and the brand’s carbon footprint. Bringing a classic spin on 2000s fashion like Miaou always does, their Holiday Collection shows us that they’ve always got something up their sleeves to surprise us with.
