A partnership to satiate the nostalgia for our childhood selves, legendary makeup brand Maybelline New York has announced its newest global spokesperson: international pop icon Miley Cyrus. A collaboration founded on self-expression and fearless confidence, this new chapter of Maybelline kicks off with a powerful remix to the cosmetic brand’s world-famous “Maybe it’s Maybelline” jingle, reimagined through Miley’s compelling sound.

The lyrics to Miley’s interpretation bridge her own pop tunes with Maybelline’s original jingle: “They can’t stop staring, they’re looking so long / They can’t stop playing this song, oh yeah / Don’t hold back one side of you, oh yeah / You know it’s true / Take it all the way to the top / Give it everything that you got.”
In celebrating reinvention and bringing meaning to beauty, the partnership will also highlight Miley as the face of upcoming launches for the brand, including a new color unveiling and a launch of the viral Sky High mascara. By intersecting music with makeup, fans will be offered a new way to feel empowered and express their inner pop star.

“I remember singing the Maybelline jingle as a kid and imagining it was me on the screen. Now, it is. To take something so iconic and make it mine—it’s powerful and personal,” says Miley Cyrus. “This partnership brings together two core parts of me. You can’t erase makeup from music. Within music, there’s performance and honesty—makeup enhances both. It’s how I tell my truth without saying a word. Maybelline shares my belief that makeup should be expressive, ever-evolving. Partnering with Maybelline, a brand that celebrates meaningful values, self-expression and play, felt like the most natural fit in this stage of my life.”
