She is Coming. Miley Cyrus is Coming.
V’s resident rebel is returning with a rockstar vengeance of major proportions.
After dropping an infectious bop with VMAN41 cover star Mark Ronson earlier this year and turning heads at the 2019 Met Gala, Miley Cyrus revealed the official first hint for her forthcoming album nearly 2 weeks ago with the messaging “She is Coming”. This past weekend, Cyrus took Radio 1’s Big Weekend music festival by storm with a career defining headlining set that included debut performances of 3 new tracks, an appearance by Charli XCX, and a loaded rockstar strut to welcome in the newest era of Miley.
Inciting a monstrous roar, Cyrus made her first appearance during the festival as Ronson invited the superstar onstage to deliver a soulful live rendition of “Nothing Break Likes a Heart”.
Taking the mainstage solo the next evening, Cyrus performed a crowd-pleasing set that included a roster of her biggest hits and a rendition of her timeless party anthem “We Can’t Stop” with pal and fellow V alum, Charli XCX.
Surprising fans, Cyrus gifted the masses with 3 new songs that – for lack of better phrase – has the internet shook.

To cap off the incredible weekend, Miley has revealed the official artwork for the album shot by Gray Sorrenti, daughter of iconic fashion photographer and V family Mario Sorrenti, accompanied by a series of ASMR forward videos of the star sucking, biting, and gnawing on fruit, some of which is indeed covered in glitter.
