Miu Miu Announces Two New Collaborations

The sister label to Prada unveiled an Upcycled partnership with Wrangler and another line with sneaker powerhouse New Balance

The Miu-Miu-verse has expanded once again. Not that the brand needed to prove anything, as it remains one of the trendiest and most interesting names in the industry today. But with the announcement of two partnerships, one with a former collaborator and another with a newcomer to the world of Miu Miu, the brand’s collaborative network continues to shine.

As a brand, Miu Miu is a gem. Since 1992, it has ornamented its designs with tastes and details that often become mainstream years later. Miu Miu understands both the current fashion landscape and where it is headed. And with these two partners, Wrangler and New Balance, the brand’s trendsetting streak shows no signs of slowing down.

First previewed at Miu Miu’s Spring/Summer 2027 showcase on October 4, the collaboration with Wrangler is part of the brand’s “Upcycled” line. In keeping with the ethos of Miu Miu Upcycled, curated pieces of vintage Wrangler denim are reimagined with a modern palette and updated trims. The iconic cowboy-cut, slim-legged jeans are revitalized with custom laces, a motif present throughout the Spring/Summer 2027 collection. Though only a select few pieces were unveiled on the runway, the entire collection will be released in early 2027.

The second partnership announced brings a familiar face back into play: New Balance. For years now, the Miu Miu x New Balance lines have been among the most defining collaborations between a high-fashion powerhouse and a sneaker manufacturer. From the first Miu Miu x New Balance 574 in deconstructed Nappa leather to the now instantly recognizable suede 530 SLs, these two brands are the definition of a dynamic duo.

Like the Wrangler line, this latest sneaker was previewed on the Spring/Summer 2027 runway. Reinterpreting the New Balance RC150, the lightweight running shoe blends nylon mesh, an UltraLight sole, and zigzag embroidery. The striking palette evokes the colors of 1990s running shoes, ranging from light caramel browns to bolder yellows, greens, and reds. Miu Miu’s latest collaboration with New Balance will be available in February 2027.
