Miu Miu Is “Here and Now” for SS27

The luxury fashion house makes the old new again

In the ever-changing fashion zeitgeist, one fashion house that is consistently present is Miu Miu. For its Spring/Summer 2027 collection, titled “Here and Now,” the luxury brand owns the fact that its finger is firmly on the pulse of what’s cool and chic for the modern woman, both on and off the runway.

On October 4th in Paris, stars spanning film, music, television and more gathered at the Palais d’Iéna to watch Miu Miu present its newest collection. The house also collaborated with Wrangler and New Balance, further demonstrating its understanding of what’s trending today.
Among those in attendance were Maude Apatow, Ella Bright, Mckenna Grace, Joey King, Emma Mackey, Jack Martin, Lili Reinhart, Nara Smith and many others.

Miu Miu Upcycled worked with Wrangler to create denim from archetypical jeans from the end of the twentieth century found by vintage specialists and accessorized with lacing, representing Miu Miu’s belief that vintage can be redefined and frame the future of fashion.

For the fifth year, New Balance also worked with Miu Miu to reconstruct the RC150 racing sneaker, also featured on the runway with the Wrangler collaboration. Miuccia Prada’s collection is defined by a sense of timeless elegance and beauty meshed with elevation to match the ever-changing conversation around clothes and what makes them modern.

Sportswear, knitwear, leather and, of course, vintage make the collection what it is. Suede and lacing move with the body. The remastered denim, pleated skirts, dresses and New Balance shoes create a functionality within the collection that cannot be easily replicated.
