Miu Miu Upcycled 2026 Reimagines Vintage Staples

Oversized tailoring, reconstructed separates, and hand-finished details shape this season’s latest evolution of the project.
Miu Miu Upcycled returns for 2026, continuing its ongoing exploration of vintage garments reimagined through craftsmanship, restoration, and reinterpretation. This season, the project starts with two wardrobe staples: the white cotton shirt and the classic pair of khaki chinos—familiar pieces that become the foundation for something entirely new.

Sourced through vintage specialists around the world, each garment undergoes a careful process of deconstruction, cleaning, and restoration before being rebuilt into new silhouettes. Original hardware is removed, seams are opened, and fabrics are reconsidered, allowing archival clothing to take on a second life while preserving traces of its past.

The collection plays with transformation and contrast. Vintage trousers become oversized jackets, bustiers, or skirts, while shirts are reconstructed into dresses and apron-inspired tops. Details such as leather collars, ribbon finishes, patched pockets, and crystal flower embellishments introduce a balance between utilitarian references and decorative elements—a tension that has long defined Miu Miu’s visual language.

Accessories follow the same approach. Khaki pouches, backpacks, and chino sneakers are revisited with leather trims, prints, charms, and embellishments, extending the Upcycled philosophy beyond ready-to-wear.

Miu Miu Upcycled 2026 places craftsmanship, restoration, and reworking at the center of the collection, giving existing garments new forms while preserving the history embedded within them. The collection is now available in selected stores worldwide.
