Molly Goddard Drops Its Much-Anticipated Collaboration With UGG

As seen on London Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2021 runways.

When it comes to innovative patterns, cuts and textiles, Molly Goddard is always at the forefront. Though she has been in business for less than a decade, the British designer has already established herself as an industry provocateur with exuberant, state-of-art runway looks. Since its inception in 2014, the label has developed considerably and even expanded into menswear and accessories — and now, the London-based designer is partnering with SoCal lifestyle brand UGG for the much-anticipated Spring/Summer 2021 collab.
The new project is comprised of three footwear styles — the boot, the slipper and the platform — all available in several eye-catching colorways. The UGG x Molly Goddard is intended to highlight UGG’s iconic DNA by recontextualizing its timeless materials and textures with elements that include floral appliques, novel fabrics and vibrant hues. Originally debuted during London Fashion Week in September of last year, the collection now comes to life through a visual campaign lensed by Theo Sion, styled by Alice Goddard and captured on film by Eoin McLoughlin.
“I was so excited to work with Alice and Theo for the this campaign; UGG gave us such freedom and as a result, the images and videos we created feel very special and authentic,” said designer Molly Goddard. “I love working with contrasting materials, colors and textures and feel the campaign images capture this perfectly.”
The campaign manages to highlight the ethereal nature (quintessential to the heritage of Molly Goddard) while also striking that perfect balance between the playful and elegant nature that both brands share. The product from the collection is now available to shop online, as well as in select global UGG stress and retail partners including Dover Street Market, Nordstrom, SSENSE and Blake.
