Moncler Introduces “Puffy Summer” Season

The Italian luxury house gets hot in a new campaign starring actor Jamie Dornan, proving its jackets are multi-seasonal

Synonymous with freezing temperatures and winter survival, Moncler now wants you to know about its adaptability. Whether it’s an Alaskan winter or Californian Summer, layering is seasonless, and Moncler is year-round. The Italian luxury brand, famous for its cold-weather down puffer jackets, is bringing its pillowy essence to warmer seasons.

Moncler’s “Have a Puffy Summer” campaign introduces the brand’s DNA to summer, debuting its signature “puff” through elevated, lightweight layers of nylon. No matter the season, comfort and protection are essential in dressing.

At the campaign’s face is heartthrob actor and model Jamie Dornan, posed beside whimsical (inflatable) campaign co-stars—an octopus, a whale, a lobster, a seahorse, a crab, and a flamingo. The imagery dawns Dornan’s natural charisma, matching the season’s fittings and its charm.

“There’s something really interesting about taking what Moncler’s known for and shifting it into summer,” says Dornan. “You still get that sense of warmth and puffiness, just in a lighter, more relaxed way. The whole campaign has this real sense of joy and playfulness.”
