Monogram Takeover: Louis Vuitton Empreinte Fine Jewelry Collection
Louis Vuitton launches a historical fine jewelry collection that mingles with adventure and personal discovery
Louis Vuitton has unveiled their most recent campaign for a fine jewelry collection titled Empreinte. A timeless Louis Vuitton jewelry collection, Empreinte is enriched by new creations which evoke inner adventure and personal discovery.
First created in 2004, the Empreinte collection’s distinctively recognizable designs draw their essence from the Maison’s emblematic codes. Spearheaded by Francesca Amfitheatrof, Artistic Director of Watches and Jewelry for Louis Vuitton, the House enters a new chapter as she turns her honed sense of sparkle into unprecedently bold creations.
Crafted in 18-karat yellow, white, or pink gold pieces, the unisex collection features the iconic and powerful LV initials which were originally designed by Georges Vuitton in 1896. Interlaced rings and bracelets are an allegory for the relationship between loved ones, and resemble the leather straps that fasten the Maison’s legendary luggage.
Versatility is expressed in a long necklace that easily transforms into a multi-strand bracelet or a stacked necklace, while the hoop earring and diamond-studded ear cuff develop a geometrical strength.
With Empreinte, Louis Vuitton asserts a jewelry collection full of character, writing an ode to travel in clear lines and bright strokes. The Louis Vuitton Empreinte Fine Jewelry collection will launch on August 19th.
