While much of the focus of Milan Fashion Week is on the runways, some luxury releases are shared in more intimate settings. During the presentations that filled the week, Montblanc unveiled their collection of leather goods for FW26.
The release was showcased through a curated experience—that nearly operated like an art installation—over breakfast at Salone dei Tessuti. Jamie Campbell Bower and Emma Roberts were some of the guests in attendance alongside Montblanc brand ambassadors, Zinedine Zidane and Waris Ahluwalia.

The experience was inspired by Wes Anderson’s short film, “Let’s Write” and brought elements of hopefulness, transformation and whimsy to the presentation of the leather goods. According to the luxury brand, “the theme reflects Montblanc’s belief that writing has the power to become a transformative journey.” Different stations were designed around the space intended for evoking the voyage created through writing. Some of these displays included a series of train cars, the Montblanc desk and Montblanc’s tree of writing, which became a wishing tree for guests’ engagement.

The collection explores the desk as a means of personal expression through stationary, notebooks and desk objects. A writing traveler briefcase emphasizes the link between adventure and storytelling. For the season, the collection embraces warm tones, like honey, burnt orange and bauxite.
