Montblanc has drawn inspiration from the legendary Muhammad Ali for its annual Great Characters Collection. This remarkable figure, celebrated not only for his prowess in the boxing ring but also for his global impact as a champion of civil rights and social change, serves as the muse behind the collection.

The collection incorporates intricate design elements that symbolize Ali’s boxing career and his advocacy for civil rights. Notably, the four ropes of a boxing ring are engraved on the pen’s cone, while the cap resembles a punchbag. The matte black precious resin on the barrel represents boxing bandages, signifying the dedication and preparation Ali put into his matches.

The cap features a white Montblanc emblem with the number “1,” honoring Ali’s first world title. The collection also features a clip inspired by his title belt, a wreath underneath the clip, and a gold nib engraved with a boxing glove.

The Montblanc Great Characters Muhammad Ali Special Edition collection is now available for purchase, with prices ranging from $950 to $38,000.

Shop the collection on Montblanc’s official website or in store at one of Montblanc’s boutiques.
