Moose Knuckles and Telfar Are Back Again
The Canadian winter staple and the maker of the Bushwick Birkin debut second collab
New York-based genderless brand TELFAR has unveiled its second collaboration with Canadian luxury outerwear brand Moose Knuckles.
The 24-piece ready-to-wear and accessories collection is a continuation of TELFAR’s first foray into performance-driven outerwear last year. This new collection focuses on creating new weather-resistant silhouettes that embody anonymity: a distinctly New York penchant for getting noticed while minding your own business. Moose Knuckles’ iconic pieces got interpreted through an eye-catching futuristic appeal for all who want to make a statement, stay stealth, and keep warm this season.
Creating coats and apparel that allow its wearer to be perceived how they want to was important to the collaboration because “In New York City, coats are basically your car, so if you work for yourself your coat is also your place of business,” says Telfar Clemens of TELFAR. “These essentially are coats for minding your business.”
The latest Moose Knuckles x TELFAR collaboration continues to pay homage to the distinctly city-minded cold-weather tradition of puffer jackets and offers them in three colors—timeless black, and for the first time, gold and silver—taking inspiration from the hardware used in Moose Knuckles’ bestselling Icons collection.
The collection includes the classic weather-resistant bomber jacket with a matching pair of pants, both trimmed in either fox, fur, or lamb shearling. Additional pieces include a leather peacoat and a sweatsuit which is comprised of the quilted hoodie that pairs with the matching sweatpants, all of which feature TELFAR’s quilted monogram and embroidery.
Moose Knuckles x TELFAR will also offer an expanded shopping bag range, building upon last year’s highly coveted styles. The new collection includes the Small Quilted Shopper with an all-over puzzle-piece TELFAR monogram in down-filled quilted nylon. The Medium and Large Quilted Shoppers will be offered in both down-filled leather and nylon. For the first time, the Medium Puff Quilted Shopper, also made from down-filled nylon featuring TELFAR’s logo at the center, will also be available.
Prices for the collection range from $295 to $4,500 USD. The highly anticipated collaboration was launched on December 1, 2022, on Mooseknucklescanada.com, Moose Knuckles boutiques, TELFAR.net, and luxury retailers, including Saks Fifth Avenue, Holt Renfrew, Ssense, and Browns.
