Na na na, na na na – Elmo’s World meets Moschino’s world in the label’s latest ready-to-wear collection starring Kacey Musgraves. Inspired by his love and fond memories of Sesame Street, Jeremy Scott channeled some of the show’s key principles such as kindness and curiosity through Moschino’s signature playfulness. 

The 33-piece line features some of the show’s beloved colorful characters – Elmo, Cookie Monster, Big Bird, Oscar the Grouch, Grover, and Bert and Ernie – dressed in Moschino designs on neutral backgrounds, with fabrics in black, white, and heather grey. 

Some of the pieces bring a pattern made of the character’s faces, such as the black-hooded windbreaker, the knitted cardigan, and the matching cropped denim vest and skirt. Bubble letter logos add even more to the joyful mood. 

Other designs feature embroidered character patches and printed motifs are featured on sweatshirts, dresses, and special accessories – including a phone case. 

Musgraves, who’s also a lifelong fan, dove deep into the Sesame Street vibes, appearing at a Cookie Monster-inspired fluffy blue set eating a giant cookie and even inside Oscar the Grouch’s trash can. 

“In my natural habitat,” the singer tweeted of the collaboration, followed by, “it’s garbage CAN not garbage CANNOT, thank u.” In December, she taped a special appearance for the show’s upcoming 52nd season and actually posted a photo of herself posing next to the grumpy green character. 

The Moschino x Sesame Street collection currently has exclusive items available in China, with the rest of the line dropping worldwide in stores and at Moschino.com on May 25.
