Getaway this Valentine’s Day at these NYC Hotels

Lotte New York Palace, The Mark, and Baccarat are among the most romantic hotels in New York

Flowers and chocolates are fun, but an impromptu trip for Valentine’s Day might be even better. What if you surprised your significant other with a special night at one of New York City’s most romantic hotels? If you want to spoil your significant other this year, consider skipping the classic Valentine’s Day dinner and ordering in instead.

Roxy Hotel

Celebrate Valentine’s Day with your significant other at the Roxy Hotel. On Valentine’s Day, the hotel will have live music by Michael Garin and Dandy Wellington and a special menu consisting of Hamachi Sashimi, Halibut and Black Forest Cake.

Lotte New York Palace

The Lotte New York Palace is probably one of the most storied properties in Manhattan. The five-star hotel has beautiful public areas and classically furnished rooms. Special for Valentine’s Day, the hotel will be issuing “Share the Love” postcards that guests can send home to their loved ones. The hotel will donate to the American Heart Association in honor of American Heart Month for each postcard sent.

Library Hotel New York City

If you or your partner is a book lover, consider spending a night at the Library Hotel – which is just around the corner from the historic New York City Public Library. This month, the hotel offers a Happily, Ever After Package, which includes a king bedroom with a chilled bottle of Veuve Cliquot champagne and a box of Leonidas chocolates.

William Vale

The William Vale, located in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, has guest rooms with floor-to-ceiling windows with sweeping views of Manhattan. To celebrate the month of love, guests can participate in the Choose Your Own Love Story package that offers a menu of add-on amenities to their stay. Among the offerings include Gosset Champagne, Fine & Raw truffles, Maude sexual wellness kits, and rose petal candles.

The Mansfield Hotel

The Mansfield was voted the “Most Romantic Hotel” on CitySearch. The Beaux Arts-style boutique has a club atmosphere and offers a gym, wireless internet, and an assortment of coffees. Situated in the center of New York, you and your significant other can visit the Empire State Building, Top of the Rock, Times Square – or have an equally fun night in.

The Mark Hotel

Only steps away from Central Park, the Mark Hotel is perfect for foodies. For Valentine’s Day weekend, the hotel offers a three-course prix fixe room service menu that pairs natural aphrodisiac bites and love potion cocktails.

The Lowell

For those who may not be familiar, The Lowell is a more intimate, boutique-style hotel with old-school glam rooms. This weekend, the hotel offers a Happy Hearts Package that includes overnight accommodations in the One Bedroom suite Deluxe, a gift from Chopard’s Happy Hearts Collection, flowers, and champagne.

Baccarat Hotel

Best known for its decadent chandeliers, the Baccarat Hotel is another excellent option for V-Day. This weekend the hotel offers a Romance and Style package that includes champagne in Baccarat flutes (you can take home!), a five-course dinner, and couples’ treatments at the Spa de La Mer.

The Beekman Hotel

Housed inside one of the city’s first skyscrapers, the Beekman Hotel is filled with history (not to mention was said to have been where Edgar Allan Poe published The Broadway Journal). Start your night with dinner at Tom Colicchio’s dining room for a prix fixe of specials, and finish it off with cocktails in the Bar Room.
