The four performances you have to watch.

Last night, in Rotterdam, Bebe Rexha hosted the 2016 MTV EMAs, which is essentially just the sister award show of the VMAs. The winners are often the same, except with more international artists recognized. Region-specific categories include Best Southeast Asian Act, Best UK & Ireland Act, and Best Japanese Act, but weren't presented during the ceremony.

Truthfully, this year’s EMAs was a bit of a snooze fest, falling short of its sibling show. For starters, the A-Listers didn’t turn out—only The Weeknd, Shawn Mendes, DNCE, and Zara Larsson stood out from the crowd—which is surprising given that Lady Gaga, Drake, Justin Bieber, Fifth Harmony, Coldplay and more won big.

That said, the performers that did show put on quite the performance, barring Bebe Rexha’s bizarre dance upon a giant furry “U.” No clue what that was about, but it was at least buzzy. Watch the four best performances below.
