Hedi Slimane, creative director of Celine, recently curated a personal collection of films through the online streaming service, MUBI. From cult classics to modern masterpieces, this repertoire of global cinema peers into Slimane’s own cinematic sensibilties. 

His list of films, whose availability vary from country to country, include the following:

  • Night Tide (Curtis Harrington, 1961) 
  • Charade (Stanley Donen, 1963) 
  • Le Cercle Rouge (Jean-Pierre Melville, 1970)

  • Paris, Texas (Wim Wenders, 1984)
  • Persona (Ingmar Bergman, 1966)
  • Pierrot Le Fou (Jean-Luc Godard, 1965)

As an invitation amid the COVID-19 crisis, MUBI and Hedi Slimane are offering the first 30 days on the curated platform for free. Viewers can now watch any of MUBI’s films for a whole month, including Hedi Slimane’s film collection.
