One year of Alien Goddess!

MUGLER is celebrating the anniversary of their iconic Alien Goddess Eau de Parfum with the introduction of a new scent, Alien Goddess Intense.

A floral base with notes of Calabrian bergamot, jasmine, and bourbon vanilla, Alien Goddess Intense is unique and and compelling. The long-lasting scent is warmer than the original Alien Goddess scent, blending woody, amber, and floral notes. Perfumers Marie Salamagne & Nathalie Lorson say the scent is “an amplified, enveloping and generous olfactory signature, taking Alien Goddess one step further.”

The key note of tailor-made bergamot heart is sweetened with coconut cream accord, while a jasmine grandiflorum superinfusion adds notes of jasmine tea. The scent is finished with notes of bourbon vanilla, fused with a premium new ingredient: benzoin resinoid.

The perfume itself comes in MUGLER’s classic gem-inspired bottle, now colored with a deeper amber shade to signify the newfound intensity of the fragrance.

MUGLER also launched a campaign, again featuring Willow Smith as an incarnation of the Alien Goddess herself, embodying an  augmented sense of femininity. Smith is a fitting choice for this character: at age 21, she’s become a cultural phenomenon through her singing, writing, and activism.

The brand notes that while the original iteration of Alien Goddess is perfect for daytime, Alien Goddess Intense is the ideal nighttime fragrance due to its warmth and intensity.
