Drumroll, please: the 2018 Pirelli Calendar is here. Shot by the always extravagant Tim Walker, it features 28 photos of an all-black cast in Alice in Wonderland themed apparel and makeup. The shoot, which took place last May in London on 20 different sets, was styled by Edward Enninful.

The lineup for the calendar is one of the best we've seen in years, and includes Naomi Campbell, Whoopi Goldberg, Sean “Diddy” Combs, Adwoa Aboah, Lil Yachty, Lupita Nyong’o, RuPaul, Sasha Lane and Slick Woods, among many more models. Naomi Campbell was also featured in Pirelli's first all-black iteration of the calendar in 1987 at age 16.

Enninful, a champion of diversity and British Vogue's first black Editor-in-Chief, commented "To see a black Alice today means children of all races can embrace the idea of diversity from a very young age and also acknowledge that beauty comes in all colors," continuing that "Projects like this remarkable Pirelli Calendar demonstrate that there is still hope in what sometimes feels like an increasingly cynical reality."

Duckie Thot is an apt choice for the role as Alice. Born to Sudanese refugees and raised in Australia, she often shows off her Sudanese roots on social media, navigating multiple cultural identities. She posted on Instagram about the calendar "To all the girls I receive messages from everyday, to all the woman who grew up in western countries and didn't see fair representation of themselves on the screens and in the magazines, to the girls who've struggled with self acceptance, wherever you are around the world, this is for you. This is for the culture." Preview images from the calendar below.
