Neil Barrett’s Spring 2022 Menswear Collection debuts in a whirlwind that combines work and play, expanding ideas of creativity and self-expression through the English designer’s latest designs. Shot at Milan’s Idroscalo amusement park, the setting and the garments reflected the feel of the collection  — a return to feeling free and making connections with others.

Uniform and utility-style button-ups intermixes with casual knits and graphic tees, creating an ambience that allows the wearer to be ready for any situation thrown at them at all times. Descending from a legacy of master-tailors, Barrett’s precise looks come with no surprise after understanding his intensive skill of the craft. 

Forest greens, muted blues and soft corals compose the color palette of the collection, depicted on detailed knitwear or monochromatic suits. 

Cacti and dinosaur motifs make up the essence of the graphic tees, jackets, shorts and sweaters, being displayed across each garment with their unique patterns, capturing that feeling of playfulness and going out all while contrasting the harder elements of the workwear.

Utility jackets and collared trench coats make up the outerwear, adhering to Barrett’s classic silhouettes with a latest twist such as two-toned color blocking pieces or a higher neck popped out collar.

Not limiting to just the pristine feel of the garments themself, Barrett also stepped out with the accessories honing in on details and character. Small crossbody bags in bright royal blue and larger coral satchels are just some of the many bags within the collection. Fanny packs, backpacks and over-the-shoulder bags also make an appearance in their various sizes and shapes. 

Leather sneakers in black, white and blue adorn the model’s feet, allowing for a staple piece in one’s closet. Slides and boots also make their appearance in the same color palette with creams and brown as an added twist.
