New Calvin Klein Underwear Campaign Highlights Real Life

Calvin Klein has always focused on sexiness, but with its new underwear campaign, they turn to you and how you do sexy in your public and private life.

Calvin Klein has hit on authenticity before. Throughout the years, the American fashion house has focused on their iconic underwear’s everyday appeal to the regular person. In its Fall 2019 campaign, it’s not straying from that mold. This time, it targets what sexy looks like for you, “In Real Life.” #MYCALVINS IRL considers the two kinds of sexiness in your life: the empowering one you present to the public and the intimate other you keep for private moments. By capturing the composed and unadulterated sides of “sexy,” Calvin Klein shows its underwear can work for the real you.

They do so by working with an all-star cast: Naomi Campbell, Diplo, Bella Hadid, Odell Beckham, Jr., actors Jacob Elordi and Jelly Lin, models Matthew Noszka and Cara Taylor, musicians Beth Ditto and Lay Zhang. They imagine the idea of sexy that Calvin Klein is trying to hit through expressive still images and energized videos. Regardless of medium, they highlight the confident and vulnerable traits of sexiness we expose in our private and personal lives. Each shows these stars reveling in their own versions of sexiness; Calvin Klein wants you to do the same. The Fall 2019 campaign showcase a few notable underwear options: Neon, 1981 Bold, across both men’s and women’s categories, and Liquid Touch, in the women’s tailored bra category.
