How did the onset of this year’s public health crisis change your outlook on life and/or work?

This public health crisis has taught me to appreciate what I have in life. I’ve learned how to turn something negative such as the health crisis into a positive by being able to spend more time with my family and having time to take care of my body.

What have you been reading or watching while in quarantine?

During the health crisis, I’ve been loving to watch the Outer Banks on Netflix! I love the show so much because I feel like I’m a pogue!

What’s the first thing you’re going to do after coming out of quarantine?

The first thing I’m going to do when I get out of quarantine is go shopping because I’ve been doing way too much online shopping!! It’s just not the same.

What is your stance on the current state of affairs in the US regarding the BLM movement, protests, and police brutality? 

I’m very angry—police brutality and racism should have been solved a long time ago. I am in utter disbelief about how people are still racially profiling and treating others differently based on their skin color. 

Are you taking part in the movement? If so, how?

By spreading awareness through my social media and going to my local protests I will continue to do my part in the movement.
