New Trailer for “The Batman” Drops During NBA All-Star Weekend
The new movie took over the screens at one of basketball’s biggest nights.
On February 20, fans gathered outside of the Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse in Cleveland to watch the NBA All-Star Weekend game. As Team LeBron and Team Durant waited to face off, DC Comics took over the screens.
In light of the new Batman film, starring Robert Pattinson and Zoë Kravitz, DC dropped the newest trailer at the pregame event. Brain Anderson, the broadcaster for the event, turned fans attention from a regularly scheduled commercial break to one filled with fantasy. Shown on the screens outside the stadium, “unmask the truth” appeared on a glitchy screen. As the famous Bat Signal appeared in the sky above, Batman drops onto the roof of the stadium. The video then goes to show the new trailer for The Batman.
As Pattinson gears up to save Gotham City in his new superhero role, fans are excited to see what this new direction for the classic comic has in store. The Batman premieres in theaters on March 4, and will hit HBO Max in late April.
