Aussie actor and singer-songwriter Nicolas Hamilton debuts his uplifting piano ballad titled “Spins” along with its official lyric video filmed in New York’s Washington Square Park. The song, dedicated to his boyfriend, Jackson, describes the couple’s second date and the feelings Nicolas felt.

The official lyric video time lapses a single park bench and the hustle and bustle of New York City, with Nicolas and Jackson making an appearance and sharing a kiss at the end.

“I wrote “SPINS” the morning after our second date,” said Nicolas. “My hungover brain needed to put the story of our date on paper, otherwise I was going to forget how much love I felt for this guy the night prior. Whether it’s the gay pride of it all, the cute story, or the obvious, apparent love throughout the track, I just hope people see some of themselves in the song, or perhaps what they hope for themselves. It’s also such a great feeling to be able to release this song during Pride Month, and I feel proud to be part of a community where I can be unabashedly myself.”

As an accomplished star across film, music and social media, the 23-year-old artist has been entertaining audiences for years. Known for notable roles in movies like the screen adaptation of Stephen King’s “IT” franchise and the Academy Award-nominated “Captain Fantastic,” Nicolas’s charismatic personality and talent transcend across all art forms. In addition to his musical and acting talents, he has become a viral mixologist sensation, accumulating over 1.8 million followers and 40 million likes on TikTok.

Drawing comparisons to Lewis Capaldi and Hozier, Nicholas entered the music scene in 2021, unveiling a series of singles leading up to his debut EP, “Pretty Young.” His latest single, “Alone,” dropped on May 5th, and he recently wowed audiences with a sold-out performance at Rockwood Music Hall in New York City. More live shows are on the horizon as he prepares for the release of his second EP, “FATE,” scheduled for Fall 2023.
