Nicki Minaj’s Capsule Collection Will Get Your #FENDIPrintsOn

Nicki Minaj’s capsule collection is fierce, fabulous and that’s a FENDI fact.

If two-time V cover star Nicki Minaj could be described in one color it would be pink. She drives a pink Lamborghini. One of her four studio albums is titled Pink Friday. Sometimes her hair is pink. To many listeners around the world, her music exudes that vivacious, spirited feeling of pink.

With this in mind, it should come as no surprise that one of the dominating colors in her new FENDI Prints On capsule collection is pink. The acclaimed artist, paired with designer Silvia Venturini Fendi and the design team, created a futuristic line for the newest chapter of the FF Series.

Some of the staples of the collection are dresses that accentuate the silhouette paired with oversized puffy jackets. Different textures are showcased in the Baguette and Peekaboo bags from sequins to the embossed FF logo in silver metallic and pink.

Minaj’s respect for the Italian luxury brand is loyal. In the campaign video, which was shot by Steven Klein, she stands tall wearing a bright pink, body-hugging dress, almost-translucent pink socks, and heels—all Fendi. And all the viewer can hear is “Murda, I swear, this is actually my favorite song.” That song, which was written by Minaj, PnB, and Murda Beatz, is titled “Fendi” and is the official song of the campaign video. As models orbit around Minaj, several outfit changes ensure from a cutout bright pink bathing suit to silver metallic pants.

The collection will be available online on October 14 and in select boutiques on October 16. All that has been revealed thus far exudes glamour and it is a Fendi fact that the rest of the collection will too.
