While the first pair of Nike’s Air Max Muse initially debuted in December, this newest release tacks on the creative eye of renowned stylist and designer Veneda Carter. 

The Muse makes a connection between form and function, a familiar pairing to the Nike brand. The silhouette is versatile; its curvaceous design and seamless lines give the new Air Max a futuristic form while maintaining the classic Nike comfort.

Carter designed the shoe with his own wearability in mind; ​​“the Air Max Muse is exactly the type of shoe I love to wear,” Carter says. “It has this universal appeal that mixes a classic, sporty look with a feminine, sexy feel. My goal in designing this expression of the Air Max Muse was to have my personality and energy shine through, so anyone who sees the shoe recognizes it as my style right away.”

The first exclusive colorway of the Air Max Muse fuses color with wearability. The pop of fuchsia pink at the sneaker’s heel adds a feminine substance to the otherwise simple colorway—military green, white, and gold accents.

“You can wear it all day, whether you’re just cruising down the street, going to a party, or heading to dinner or the gym,” says Carter. “The textured lace tips that match my jewelry also make the shoe stand out in any environment, giving it a really high-end look.”

The Nike x Veneda Carter Air Max Muse will be available in-store at Naked Copenhagen on May 30 and globally at venedacarter.com on June 23.
