"All you want is Nikes"....and equal pay.

The New York TimesĀ reports that thousands of Nike employees will be receiving raises after an internal pay review undertaken in response to claims of wage inequality and harassment faced by female workers. Not only that, but several of the apparel giant's top execs have been forced out; a minimum of 11 senior managers have left the company due to the investigation.

According to the Times, women at Nike have become fed up with the company "tolerating bad behavior and excluding women from its top jobs." Mark Parker, the company's chief executive, has since apologized for overlooking their concerns, pledging that Nike will change its inner framework to reflect an appreciation of workforce diversity, altering its compensation and management programs.

Nike also announced that it will adapt a new method for calculating employee bonuses, which will now be determined mainly by the company's performance. Let's hope other major corporations follow suit.
