No Time to Die: Billie Eilish Drops Music Video for James Bond Movie Theme Song

The visual features scenes from the upcoming James Bond motion picture also titled “No Time To Die”.

Billie Eilish is no stranger to the big screen. Her work has often been featured in various films and tv shows, spanning through the likes of Hollywood and streaming services alike.

This time, the pop singer – songwriter has reportedly teamed up with Darkroom/Interscope Records to create the theme song for the upcoming James Bond movie  No Time to Die. The visuals for the song dropped today and both James Bond fans and Eilish stans couldn’t be more excited.

For one, the visuals seamlessly blend a moody black and white Billie with crisp, tinted scenes from the actual movie. Packed with action, romance, and the characteristic nostalgia of the Bond franchise, this “powerful and moving song has been impeccably crafted to work within the emotional story of the film.”

The music video was produced by Billie’s brother; fellow multi Grammy Award winner Finneas O’Connell along with Stephen Lipson. Also in the mix is an orchestral arrangement by Hans Zimmer and Matt Dunkley featuring Johnny Marr on guitar.

Also worth noting is Eilish’s sheer vocal range. Cusping an old fashioned microphone between her hands, the pop star croons a melodic ballad that not only captivates the audience, but also manages to show off her gen – z vigor. It’s worth noting that the 18-year-old is officially the youngest artist in history to both write and record a James Bond theme song. Her mind!

Adding to the music video release is news of an upcoming interview and performance on NBC’s The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon which will take place on Monday, October 5th. Billie Eilish and Finneas will both reportedly be joining Daniel Craig for James Bond Day.

“It feels crazy to be a part of this in every way. To be able to score the theme song to a film that is part of such a legendary series is a huge honor,” says Eilish.
