Oliver Peoples and Re/Done have joined forces on a Southern Californian-inspired venture: the Oliver Sun. A classic, polarized pair of sunglasses that evokes effortless cool, the black rim and brown tint calls to mind timeless SoCal tendencies with a modern edge.

To celebrate their recent collaboration, Oliver Peoples and Re/Done launched an 80s-themed party at Paul’s Cocktail Lounge in Tribeca. The guests included Rose McGowan, Alessandra Ambrosio, and Rocco Basilico, among many others. For the entertainment, tribute impersonators churned out hits from George Michael, Madonna, and Tina Turner.

No one shied away from color at the event, whose walls popped with bursts of neon prints and florals. McGowan flaunted sleeves that draped like wings, and Julian Shah-Taylor attended in a canary-yellow suit and cheerfully undone bow-tie. Although no one was more on-theme than Rachel Cyprus, whose teased-up hair and prints-on-prints seemed to jump right out of a 1986 issue of Seventeen. All in all, Oliver Peoples x Re/Done proved that they can throw a party worthy of any decade.
