Oliver Peoples Debuts A Dreamy Short Film
For their Spring 2020 campaign, the luxury eyewear label unites a superstar duo: Kelsey Asbille and Hero Fiennes Tiffin.
American luxury eyewear brand Oliver Peoples just released an exceptional short film campaign for their Spring 2020 collection, titled, “Never A Trend, Always In Style,” and it’s a true testament to the brand’s commitment to a high-level of craftsmanship. Shot at the legendary Sunset Tower Hotel by famed fashion photographer and accredited director Blair Getz Mezibov, the elegantly-framed short features Fargo’s Kelsey Asbille and After’s Hero Fiennes Tiffin. Sharing the screen in a love affair, the dynamic duo sport select designs from Oliver Peoples’ Spring 2020 collection as the story unfolds.
In the campaign video’s opening scene, Asbille sits in the backseat of a car, reminiscing on a night with Tiffin at the Los Angeles hotel after an awards show. As the shot switches back-and-forth between the present-day car ride and the hotel’s night to remember, an underlying theme of timeless beauty permeates every frame. Referencing moments from classic films, the campaign enlivens the thrill of Hollywood and the unification of unsaid truths and stolen moments. Speaking on behalf of Oliver Peoples’ mantra of “Never A Trend, Always In Style,” the short film serves as a reminder that longevity is the most prominent pillar of true success, all the while showcasing the label’s incredible eyewear silhouettes.
